Jaimini graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Criminology (Hons).
While studying, Jaimini participated in voluntary work for the Department of Justice – Banksia Hill Detention Centre. During this time, Jaimini gained invaluable experience, knowledge, and an in depth understanding of the legal system and the impact family law matters can have on the development of children and their interaction with the justice system. Alongside her studies, Jaimini was approached to be a peer tutor, and this is something she continues to engage in during her free time. Additionally, Jaimini was privileged enough to be asked to be a part of the Murdoch Cold Case Review Team. This experience gave Jaimini a chance to put into practice the knowledge she had acquired throughout her studies.
Following her graduation, Jaimini is working alongside her supervisor to publish her thesis on Honour Based Violence and Honour Killings. She is passionate about this area of law and not only wants to raise awareness on the seriousness nature of such crimes through her research, but also aim to make a difference and bring about change.
Jaimini began her career in family law with Thomson Family Lawyers in June 2021. The experience and skills gained Jaimini has gained throughout her studies and voluntary work allows her to engage and interact with clients from all walks of life with confidence and ease. Jaimini is committed to providing warm, high quality service to clients to ensure their family law journey is as smooth as possible.
